About Us
We were born in Portugal. After several years of work and study we decided to go on an adventure, so we went to Norway and lived there for several years. In Norway we started investing in homeland with several properties adquired during five years. It was an enormous challenge for us to find a service that would provide the needed suport to manage our properties being 4.000 km away.
This gave us inspiration and in 2019 we returned to Portugal and founded MY HAPPY PORTUGAL.

As an operations manager and finance, and while the founder members were away, he strugled to make the project profittable while the two founders were away not being able to take hand from homeland.
Catarina Gouveia tem mais de uma década de carreira na área de Comunicação e Marketing. Licenciada em Jornalismo pela Escola Superior de Comunicação Social (ESCS), colaborou com a RTP e a Editora Impala (Revista ‘Focus’). O seu gosto pela escrita leva-a a investir em dois cursos técnicos nas áreas de Argumento, Guionismo e Escrita Criativa.
Mais tarde começou a direcionar a sua carreira para a vertente da Comunicação Organizacional, Assessoria de Imprensa e Relações Públicas. Trabalhou ainda em Organização de Eventos Nacionais e Internacionais.
Posteriormente colabora com a SIC em produção televisiva e publicitária.
Realiza entretanto a pós-graduação e ulterior Mestrado em Publicidade e Marketing, cuja Tese de Mestrado se focou na área da Criatividade “Soluções Criativas para o panorama atual das Agências de Marketing e Comunicação”.
Tourism management student, with experience in local lodging and contact with foreigners, understanding their needs and expectations of these clients.
